'Tis the Season!

With so much going on at this time of year, we barely had enough time to get our Christmas pictures done, but we're thankful that we did--even if Mandy wasn't super thrilled for part of the time! We have our tree up, Christmas music on all the time, we have buckeyes frozen in the freezer, and we're ready to celebrate Jesus' birthday! So, from our family to yours, we hope that you find true joy in Jesus this Christmas Season!

Yay for FALL!

We got some incredible pictures taken of Mandy this fall from Anne Katherine (the photographer who did her newborn pictures), but let's suffice it to say that these pictures are NOT Anne Katherine's beautiful work, but are instead Mommy's attempt at a very short photo shoot a few days ago. Apparently all Mandy wanted to do was eat the pumpkins - gross! We love you anyways, sweetie!

Relaxing in Virginia Beach!

We had such a great, relaxing time with Angie's parents, Ryan, and Kimmy! Mandy had a blast playing in the sand and "big water" as well as lots of time in the pool too! My parents rented a BEAUTIFUL beach-front house with an awesome view! We had such a great time, and surprisingly, it was pretty relaxing too! Here's some pictures of our vacation

Our Vacation to Vermont!

We are up at Lake Groton, VT for a week with Jeff's Dad and Erin, his sister Melanie and Jeff Murphy, his younger brother Jon and Kirsten, and how could I forget Mandy's two adorable cousins, Lucy and Maddie! We've had a great time, despite some rain and thunderstorms, and we're really loved getting to spend so much time with family that we don't get to see nearly enough! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

15 months and counting :)

Mandy is 15 months already! She is not just walking, she's running all over the place, she talks up a storm, and she's quite an explorer :) We found out at her doctor's appointment this past week that she's 30 inches tall and weighs 21 lbs 5 ounces, so she's still our little "nugget"! We love you Sweetie Pie! Happy 15 months!

A very special little girl :)

A few more pictures of this beautiful little girl. She's getting so big! She's talking about a storm now, is taking quite a few steps by herself, and loves to tell us the noises that her favorite animals make. She's quite the snuggler too, which I absolutely love! We love you, Miss Mandy! :)

Happy Easter!

We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Metcalfe and Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Ryan who came for a visit for easter and Mandy's birthday party! She looked so cute in her beautiful dress, don't you think?!?!

Happy Birthday, Sweetie!

Mandy's official birthday isn't until friday, but she's already had TWO birthday parties! One in Rochester, and one here at home in Enola :) There are lots more pictures coming, but a certain "someone" is at work tonight and wanted some new pictures of his little girl to look at, so here are some that we have so far :) Love you babe!

Mandy's favorite play space--her crib!

Mandy loves her crib! In fact, she loves to play in her crib, and most of the time when we put her in her crib at naptime, she thinks that we are playing and teasing her! So, she gives us quite a few grins and giggles, and it definitely has been taking a lot longer to get her settled down lately! Good thing she's so cute.....

Our curious little girl....

We have had quite the crazy week with our little "discoverer". She is into EVERYTHING, and of course what comes with such a curious little girl are all the cuts and bruises! This week, she fell at daycare and bit her tongue (almost all the way through!) which brought us to the doctor's office, then we went to pick her up from daycare two days later, only to find out that she had hurt herself again! This time, it was due to teething (getting her 9th tooth)--she cut herself twice on her face, from scratching....poor thing..... And this doesn't even include all the falls and crazy accidents at home! Ughhhh..... did we have a BOY instead of a girl?!?! :)

It's beginning to look a lot like... a blizzard!

We've had two storms, 30+ inches of snow, and a lot of fun! The shoveling isn't as exciting, but at least we'll remember our first winter with Mandy!

Can you believe that I'm 9 months old already?

We've really started to notice how much Mandy is becoming less like a baby and more like a little girl! She just had her 9 month birthday last weekend, and at her last doctor's visit a few days ago, we found out that she's 27 3/4 inches tall (65th percentile), and weighs 18 lbs 14 ounces (51st percentile)! She is crawling all over the place now, loves to throw toys and chase after them, and is quite proud of herself when she pulls herself up to stand! Happy 9 month birthday, Sweetie!! We love you!
