I want to crawl so badly.....

She hasn't figured it out quite yet, but Mandy wants to crawl so badly! She kicks her legs really fast and stretches her arms out to the side and looks like a crazy little airplane, but she doesn't go anywhere! Jeff and I have a bet as to when she'll learn, so if she crawls by Thanksgiving, I win! Let's go, Mandy!! :) (By the way, how cute is her hair?!?!?!)

First Two Teeth

Look, everybody! It might be hard to see, but I'm showing off my first two teeth!

Our cute little neighbors, Kade (in what can only be described as the best halloween costume ever, and he picked it himself!) & Emily were so excited to see Mandy in her peapod costume!

What a daddy's girl she is!!

What a happy little peapod Mandy was tonight, and only two days after her surgery--amazing! She is such a sweet little girl--who's growing like a weed! She barely fit into her costume, which was HUGE on her just a few weeks ago! How did she grow that fast?!?! We are so proud of her, and loved to show her off to our neighbors!

It's time for fall!

At the first sight of some leaves in our backyard, we were anxious to get Mandy out to enjoy the beautiful fall weather! She wasn't too sure about what to do in the leaf pile (beside eat the leaves!), but we had a lot of fun playing with her! We love you, sweetie! Enjoy your first fall!

Happy 1/2 Birthday, Sweet Pea!

This seriously has been the fastest 6 months ever! Can you believe that Mandy is 6 months old already? We went to see Dr. Clapp this past week, and at 6 months 1 week, she is 16 lbs 3 ounces and 26 3/4 inches tall! She can sit and hold herself up for a long time now, and loves playing in her high chair! She still loves to jump, and she now tilts her head back and forth just like her cousin Lucy used to do! We gave her carrots for the first time this past week, and she seems to really like them! We are so proud of our little "Sweet Pea" - she's quickly growing into quite the little lady!

Mandy seems to be getting used to the camera! Everytime she sees it, she stares at it and sticks her tongue out! So, you'll probably be seeing lots of pictures of her with her big blue eyes and that cute little tongue sticking out!

She bounced herself right to sleep....

Mandy has always loved bouncing and jumping, but now that she has a jumparoo at home (borrowed from one of mommy's friends at work), she is super excited! So excited in fact that she bounced herself.....to sleep! She was so exhausted when she got home from daycare, and as she bounced, her little head would droop and she'd fall asleep, only to wake up suddenly and start jumping a few minutes later (and this would happen over and over)! We wish we could have gotten it on video--we were both laughing hysterically! She's such a cute little sleepy girl, don't you think?

Go 'Cuse!

Even though Syracuse couldn't pull out a win this past weekend, Daddy and Mandy still looked so great in their matching 'Cuse gear!

Trip to O-H-I-O

We had such a great time in Mount Vernon this past weekend! Ohio State won (barely!), Jeff got to golf at the country club, and we introduced Mandy to lots of friends and family, all in one weekend!

What a big eater!

Mandy's first adventure with rice cereal was pretty hilarious! She was a lot more messy than it looks here--photos just can't quite capture it! Of course she wasn't sure at first, but she still managed to give the camera a few smiles! She looks so tiny in the big highchair, but I'm sure she'll grow into it in no time!

Quite the little lady :)

Mandy looked so cute, that I couldn't help but take some more pictures of her before church this morning! She can sit up now, with a lot of help from pillows :) She's such a trooper...I am obsessed with taking pictures of this beautiful little girl of ours!

Thanks to our AWESOME neighbors, the Pearsons, Mandy has a new toy exersaucer that we borrowed! She isn't quite tall enough to reach the floor, but she still has a great time sitting up and playing with all the toys!

Four months old, really?!?!

Mandy is 4 months old now! At her doctor's appointment last week, she measured 24 1/4 inches long and weighed 14 lbs 11 oz--what a big girl!! She is rolling over all the time, is super intrigued by her hands and now feet, and is starting to tolerate being in her baby bjorn carrier, which makes it a lot easier to get stuff done! She is drooling a ton and puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, so we're expecting some teeth sometime soon.... She's growing up so quickly--mom and dad can hardly keep up! We love her so much!

This past weekend marked Mandy's first road trip! We had a great time spending time with family and were able to meet our newest niece, Maddie, for the first time! She is absolutely beautiful and is such a laid-back, sweet baby! In fact, I don't think we heard her cry all weekend! Everyone loved being able to see how much Mandy had grown, and she loved showing off her new-found skills of rolling over for anyone who would watch!

She makes our hearts melt....

If these pictures wouldn't melt my heart, I don't know what would! Seeing her playing and laughing with her daddy is seriously one of the coolest moments, and I'm so excited for all the moments to come! When Jeff is at work, I've been trying to take pictures of her during the day to send to him, and the first picture here was the one I took this morning (Yes, we've been busy, and it's not even 8 o'clock yet!!
