Our Sleepy Little Girl

Mandy was quite the sleepy little girl when we took these pictures - so she was quite a good sport! She's getting bigger and bigger, every day! We were just at the doctor's office yesterday, and she's 13 lbs 6 ounces already!

First day at Kindercare!

Mommy went back to work two weeks ago, and grandma and grandpa Metcalfe played with me during the first week, and I started daycare this past week!  This picture was sent to mommy at work during my first day in day care!  I am the youngest baby, and all the bigger babies love to bring me lots of toys to play with!  I love my "tummy time"!

I'm such a big girl!

Look at me!  I'm already sitting up (with some support from mommy or daddy of course!) and I like to stand up all the time!  I also started drooling this week--mommy and daddy think that I might be teething...I'm growing up so quickly!

Visits from family!

We were so lucky to have so many house guests during the past few weeks!  Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Ryan came for July 4th weekend, and then Grandma and Grandpa Metcalfe came for the following week when Mommy went back to work!  I had so much fun and loved getting spoiled!

I LOVE my bath time!

Mandy likes getting in the bathtub, and has learned to splash water with her legs!  Of course, this has led to more messes, but also MUCH more fun for her.  She is also talking up a storm, but we still aren't quite sure what she is saying. :)  

Two New Milestones for Mandy!

Mandy has recently started sucking her thumb, and boy, has it made getting to sleep so much easier!  She also has been spending lots of "tummy time" and is lifting her head quite well!  We're so proud of this little girl of ours!  

Mandy is two months old already!

It's hard to believe, but Mandy turned two months old yesterday!  Unfortunately, that also meant that she had to get some shots at the doctor's office too, which wasn't so fun.... poor thing..... At her appointment, we also found out that she grew to 22 1/2 inches long and weighs 11 lbs 7 ounces!  Mandy is making lots of noises now and is getting stronger and stronger every day!  She'll be rolling over in no time!  What a beautiful girl she is!
