Photo Day(s)

Today Mandy finished a two-day session with a professional photographer.  It's actually a one-day session that ended up two because Mandy was not very cooperative the first day!  Hmmm... I wonder who she gets her stubborn nature from...

Day two was MUCH better than day one.  We took a lot of very nice pictures, and will try and post a link to the slideshow once we know it.  We were reminded how wonderfully blessed we are with such a beautiful baby!

Mandy got a visit from her favorite cousin this week - how exciting!  Lucy loved holding Mandy, and gave her plenty of kisses.  What a cute pair they make!

9 day-old update

Mandy had a follow up doctor's appointment yesterday.  She already weighs 7 lbs 6 oz!!  Clearly she's adopted her dad's ability to eat!  She still has lots of dark hair, which dad has tried to tell her is "from her mother."  Even at 9 days she doesn't seem fooled.  One thing she has gotten from her mother is the ability to sleep in the car, which makes the trips to the doctor's so much easier.  She is also learning to sleep in her own crib at night, and had a great night sleeping last night - mom and dad feel better rested.  She loves to snuggle, and especially loves kisses!
