Happy 2nd Birthday to our Sweet Pea!

Is it really possible that our little "nugget" just turned two years old? Crazy! Here are some pictures from her Minnie Mouse birthday party. We love you, Mandy Sue, even if you're growing up way too quickly!

So grown up!

It's been such a long time since we posted pictures on the blog, so this is our effort to catch you up with what's been going on with our family! We had an awesome time over the holidays with our families! We spent Thanksgiving with Jeff's family in Rochester, then spent a few days before Christmas in Mt Vernon with Angie's fam. Mandy did SUCH a great job with traveling, and she was certainly spoiled the entire time! Since the holidays, we've been keeping busy chasing Mandy around, and now that spring is, dare I say it, starting to peak around the corner, we're anxious to get back outside! Mandy is quite a talker - it's pretty crazy to have 5 to 10 minute conversations with a 22 month old! She knows how to count to 14 and sings her ABC's and about a million other songs at the top of her lungs on a daily basis! She tells us what she likes and doesn't like, has started insisting that she pick out her own clothes, and she has decided that she wants to ask for cookies each and every morning for breakfast, knowing full-well that Mommy and Daddy will say "absolutely not"! But she tries anyways! We're looking forward to planning her 2nd birthday - we can't believe that time has gone so quickly!

'Tis the Season!

With so much going on at this time of year, we barely had enough time to get our Christmas pictures done, but we're thankful that we did--even if Mandy wasn't super thrilled for part of the time! We have our tree up, Christmas music on all the time, we have buckeyes frozen in the freezer, and we're ready to celebrate Jesus' birthday! So, from our family to yours, we hope that you find true joy in Jesus this Christmas Season!

Yay for FALL!

We got some incredible pictures taken of Mandy this fall from Anne Katherine (the photographer who did her newborn pictures), but let's suffice it to say that these pictures are NOT Anne Katherine's beautiful work, but are instead Mommy's attempt at a very short photo shoot a few days ago. Apparently all Mandy wanted to do was eat the pumpkins - gross! We love you anyways, sweetie!

Relaxing in Virginia Beach!

We had such a great, relaxing time with Angie's parents, Ryan, and Kimmy! Mandy had a blast playing in the sand and "big water" as well as lots of time in the pool too! My parents rented a BEAUTIFUL beach-front house with an awesome view! We had such a great time, and surprisingly, it was pretty relaxing too! Here's some pictures of our vacation
